2.2 The Battery

The 7530 G2 hand-held operates with a Lithium-Ion battery pack.

Preparing the hand-held unit for operation requires that a battery

pack be charged and installed in the unit. A full charge is completed

in 4 hours with a typical charge time of 1.5 hours

Important: Before charging or using the battery pack, it is criti-

cal that the safety information on page 8 be reviewed

and that all warnings are strictly followed.

2.2.1 Battery Swap And Runtime

Important: Always switch the unit off before changing the bat-

tery. While the battery is being replaced, the 7530 G2

will save its current data for at least 15minutes.

A new, fully charged 7530 G2 battery is expected to last for greater

than 10 hours under room temperature and normal operating modes.

At approximately 300 full discharge/charge cycles, the battery

capacity can be expected to degrade to approximately 70% of origi-

nal. This degradation is typical for Lithium-Ion batteries.
